Bunya Mountain Experience

Accommodation package available for two nights in a two bedroom villa.

Depart Kingaroy Holiday Park and travel to Belvedere Farm. (When Belvedere Farm Tours are not operating the tour will travel directly to the Bunya Mountains for a full day.) You will tour a working peanut farm while sharing morning tea with your new friends.

Back on the bus and travel to the beautiful Bunya Mountains via Kumbia arriving in time to enjoy lunch with the wildlife. Take in the beauty of the Bunyas over the next three hours or so. Choose to ride on a horse drawn carriage or take a walk along one of the many spectacular walking trails. Visit the galley or have a cuppa on the cafe.

The tour returns via Maidenwell where you will pass the Observatory - an absolute must! The driver will have you back to the Kingaroy Holiday Park for afternoon tea.

Included in the tour price: one hour tour and morning tea at Belvedere Farm, lunch and afternoon tea.

Star Gazing Spectacular

Accommodation package available for one night in a two bedroom executive villa.

Have a thrill and view the four moons of Jupiter. Get up close and personal to planets such as Mars and Venus and awe at huge Moon craters and mountains. Yes, all of this and more at the Maidenwell Astronomical Observatory.

The tour leaves Kingaroy Holiday Park at 5.30 p.m. and the group will dine at the Maidenwell Hotel before the extravaganza begins at 7.00 p.m. Over the next one and a half to two hours Jim will answer any questions you may have with plenty of telescope time for everyone. The tour returns around 9.30 p.m.

Note: In case of inclement weather the Tour will be held in the Star Theatre or cancelled if required. Start times vary dependant on seasons.

Tastes of the Burnett

Accommodation packages available for two nights in a two bedroom villa which sleeps up to five people.

The South Burnett is one of Queensland's newest wine-producing regions and this popular tour allows you to relax in air-conditioned comfort while you and your friends visit up to five South Burnett wineries in a single day. The tour departs from the Kingaroy Holiday Park and drives to the multi award-winning Kingaroy Cheese Factory, where you can try some of their terrific cheeses and find out more about the art of cheese making.

Then get back on the bus for a tour through the Barambah Wine Trail, where you'll visit three wineries during the morning as well as a great morning tea in your travels through the vineyards. After this it's back on the bus for a trip to Captains Paddock Vineyard for more tastings and a long lazy lunch, then a visit to nearby Cranes Winery for even more wine tasting before finally returning to the Kingaroy Holiday Park for afternoon tea.

What a top day out!

The tour includes morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea. Cellar door fees at wineries not included in the usual itinerary are at the passengers expense.
