Departure times for charters are flexible and can be arranged to suit coach tour operators and passengers from outside Hervey Bay to allow time for travelling. DayTripper departs from Berth A13 of the Tourist Jetty of Great Sandy Straits Marina. Fast Cat services from Kingfisher Bay Resort allow resort guests to join DayTripper for a fishing excursion and return to the island in plenty of time for dinner. Continuous tea and coffee is provided and morning tea is included in the price.
