| In 2010 Maitland will host its first Doggy Fun Day, a day of interaction, celebration and education on all things dogs.
Doggy Fun Day was first held in 2007 at Empire Park, opposite Bar Beach in Newcastle and since its inception Doggy Fun Day has grown in popularity with crowds in 2009 reaching approximately 15,000.
