The inaugural Gold Coast Vintage Fashion Fair has dealers from all over Australia with antique, vintage, designer label and retro clothes by the thousand, plus fashion accessories, jewellery, millinery (just in time for the spring racing carnival), textiles, fashion art, boudoir items, buttons and bows and ribbon and lace. A fashionistas dream come true. The inaugural fair also has an exhibition close to the heart of Gold Coast fashionistas - swimwear. The 'I do like to be beside the Seaside' Exhibition provides a fascinating insight into the history of swimwear from woollen one piece suits to the 'itzy bitzy teeny weeny bikini'.
