Description

The Artists on the Creek Art Exhibition is held each year at the Baffle Creek Tavern, with the dual aim of promoting local artists from the Miriam Vale Shire area, while helping Jan Alcock to raise money for the Cancer Council Queensland. This event was first held in 2007 and that year Rosalie Stanton-Cook and two of her pottery students exhibited works, but with other artists showing interest, the following year it was extended to include artists from within the shire. The art show is open to traditional and contemporary paintings, charcoal and graphite art and sculpture. All items are for sale for the duration of the show, so make the trip to Baffle Creek for this exhibition.
