The OneSteel Fishy Fringe combines arts, music cabaret, hip hop and dance into a fantastic family festival in seaside Whyalla.

The Festival finishes with the OneSteel Foreshore Fiesta featuring live music, creative art workshops, music sessions, roving acts and circus performers.

The One Steel Fishy Fringe Festival was established by local group Create Inc to stimulate creative activity in the area. Now heading towards its seventh year 2010, the festival has grown to the extent that some 7000 people are attracted.

Significant sponsorship is obtained locally to support this growing event. The Lions Club of Whyalla Mount Laura have joined Create in 2008 to further strengthen the event with the aim of developing the Festival further, not only for local community but to attract more visitors to the area. In 2006 the event won a SA Great Award and was judged Whyalla Community Event of the Year.
