Description

The Kingaroy PCA Peanut Festival is this year celebrating its 50th anniversary. This year there will be two attempts to break Guinness World Records - The Peanut Van "peanut thresher pull' where 15 team members drag a full size peanut thresher 15 metres in the shortest possible time and the Peanut Van "peanut throw" - current record is 37.92 metres.
The day starts with a parade at 9.30am and other highlights of the day include arm wrestling competitions, vintage farm machinery displays, market stalls, live entertainment, laser skirmish, poster art competition and helicopter rides. The main feature of the day will be an aerial ping pong ball drop with 500 numbered balls and each ball wins a prize.
