Description

Visit Australia's largest collection of locally restored veteran Ford vehicles at Tasmania's Wonders of Wynyard. The collection, including the equal oldest Ford in the world, is housed in a purpose built "shed" attached to the new Wynyard Visitor Centre, in Exhibition Link, off Jackson Street in the Wynyard Town Centre.
You can see changing exhibitions of local creative wonders in the gallery, which also houses a permanent display of Japanese Dolls and a paper sculpture of the founder of the Alexander Technique, Frederick Matthias Alexander who was born and raised in Wynyard, Tasmania.
You can also shop for quality gifts, toys, books, maps and souvenirs and experience friendly assistance with local touring advice and all your Tasmanian travel arrangements.
Guided tours of the Veteran Ford Display are available for groups of 15 or more by prior arrangement. Contact the Wynyard Visitor Centre on 6443 8330 for bookings and enquiries.
