Rob Dundon began Beresford Wines in 1985, creating and establishing brand recognition for a premium collection of wines from the acclaimed McLaren Vale region.

Rob a graduate from Adelaide University in 1974, has had a distinguished career in winemaking, including 11 years with the famous hardy wine company and now with the success of Beresford, more than 1,000 medal winning wines to his name.

Wines are fruit driven with exceptional balance between fruit, oak, tannin and acid. Ease of drinkability is the result, with a concentration on length of flavour on the palate and pleasing residual fruitiness. The new home of Beresford Wines, McLaren Vale Cellars, complete with winery, cellar door, Pedlers Cottage Bed and Breakfast and Administration, is ideally located on Kangarilla Road, just on the outskirts of the township.

The Cellar Door is a must to visit. It is rustic, warm and friendly, with great history, and a wonderful setting looking across wetlands, vineyards and beyond to the changing hues and character of the McLaren Vales.

Today Beresford Wines is one of Australia's largest producers making over 300,000 cases of premium wine under various labels.
